The last box of kraft dinner in my pantry.

Eggs sat on a shelf for the last 4 weeks.

Dressing sat on counter in 75f average temperature open since September, it also expired in 2023. Its still good.

Made kraft dinner with the soy based buttery topping and powdered milk again.

Got 3 more boiled eggs for tomorrow (to pair with my last box of scalloped potatoes).

I’m sorry your opened room temperature 1000 island dressing expired 2 FUCKING YEARS AGO

But, I have made my own thousand Island dressing many times. Mayonnaise, ketchup and sometimes pickle relish.

How well does that buttery topping work as a butter substitute? I use it on popcorn often and never thought to use it in this fashion, but I like the idea

That’s not Kraft. That’s “Our Specialty.”

Dude. I’m high right now and I’ve never wanted anything more.

Deviled eggs with 1000 island dressing instead of mayo actually sounds legitimately good. I may try that this weekend. So many great foods are born out of necessity rather than avant garde mastery.

I love replacing milk with powdered milk it makes (almost) Everything creamier and much more rich. I’ve never seen that buttery topping though. Is it light enough for popcorn?
