This is similar to my grandmothers recipe except she made the crust using graham crackers and butter. Delicious, light and so easy! Sorry no pic cause I’d eat the whole thing!

That looks delicious! Good potluck food. I used to make a lemon cheesecake that had a layer of cheesecake and a layer of lemon pie filling.

Glenda Eckert of Claremore has a cheesecake recipe containing Jell-o, although it doesn’t utilize the oven, as does the recipe requested by Doreen Cole. “But this is a good recipe my family likes,” said Eckert.

    #LEMON JELL-O CHEESECAKE
    1 package lemon Jell-o
    1 cup water
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
    1 can chilled evaporated milk
1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Boil water and dissolve Jell-o; set aside to cool. Beat cream cheese and sugar until light. Beat evaporated milk until it thickens; add cooled Jell-o and cheese mixture. Pour into pie pan over graham cracker crust. Refrigerate until settled, at least 3 hours; overnight is better.

Omg this is out of this world! It’s the old Woolworths cheesecake recipe! It is huge and feather light and far too easy to devour. This is a big hit to bring to a gathering especially in the summer! I do it in a 9×13 pan and it comes right up to the brim.
