A new Mexican-inspired restaurant is set to open this spring in Somers Point at the site of the former Mexiquila restaurant.
The Pablo restaurant is slated to feature bold flavors and a vibrant atmosphere with a modern take on Mexican-inspired dining.
Cape May-based Zest Restaurant Group is launching Pablo as its first expansion into Atlantic County.
Renovations are currently underway at the Maryland Avenue property.
The restaurant group also operates Taco Caballito Tequileria in Cape May, known for its tacos, handcrafted margaritas and beachfront views.
Zest also operates two restaurants in Lower Township, Port Marina on the Cape May Harbor and Fish House on Sunset Beach on the Delaware Bay.
According to its website, Zest Restaurant Group focuses on using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients to create an elevated dining experience.
No additional details about Pablo’s concept, menu or exact opening date have been released. The owners plan to provide additional updates as the opening approaches.
