Chile strengthens its international presence in a country brand activation in New York, one of the most influential cities in the world. As part of the Chile Wine Fest 2025, an event organized by Wines of Chile in Manhattan, the Fundación Imagen de Chile deployed an experience that seeks to position the country as an innovative and diverse player.

A tour of the flavors, ingredients and stories that define Chile’s identity, highlighting products and talents from the network of licensees of the Made By Chileans program, was the objective of “Rooftop Experience: Flavors of Chile”, which took place on October 20 in the Big Apple. The culinary proposal was led by Chilean chef Ignacia Valdés, who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris and New York, and focused on representing the country’s gastronomic creativity, from north to south.

“This event is the most complete and comprehensive event to position Chile as a whole, as it includes pisco, wines, tourism and salmon. In other words, we have the Chilean product offer as a whole, which enhances the country’s image abroad,” says Andrea Sapag, director of the ProChile office in New York. “This generates cooperation between the different sectors, which has a much greater impact on the local ecosystem,” she adds.

Landing in the Big Apple
Among those attending the event were authorities from the public and private sectors, as well as Chilean residents in New York from areas such as commerce, the arts, technology and other strategic sectors.

“From the Pisco industry we have been very emphatic about the need to promote the country brand with events of this type that bring together Chile’s main beverage and food exporting industries. We have products that are really wonderful and that we have to show them off with pride abroad,” said Claudio Escobar, manager of Pisco Chile.

Julio Alonso, executive director of Wines of Chile for North America, said that “the image of Chile is built by all of us, but there has to be a narrative. And that is what we are doing today. We are with different people from the arts, from the world of finance, from other sectors, who help to build this community, this narrative, and who allow us to create this union. And how good that Wines of Chile and Marca Chile, and other sectors, can be in an event that really projects Chile, tasting the wonders of our land”.

With this initiative, Imagen de Chile reaffirms its commitment to promote a solid and positive image of the country, integrating public and private efforts to project Chile to the world as a territory of talent, creativity and quality products.
