I buy my chips and charcoal from Aces. It’s the only hardware store we have in town. I want to try some of the seasonings but I’m too cheap and most exist in my seasoning cabinet anyways.

If you’re nice, you might even get a deal on a floor model if it’s been there a while.

Your local Ace Hardware is probably owned by someone is your town. One of the Ace by me is owned by a dude that’s really into outdoor cooking so it has a huge selection…. Another one just has a small aisle.

Ace is one of the best spots to get smoking supplies. When I was out west as a mechanic for fire fighting helicopters, we’d often be far away from civilization when we needed to top up on pellets or seasoning, but you know what most of those small towns have? Ace Hardware!

Yup, thats not even a good one, mine has 3 full isles 40 ft long that are all BBQ, 1 is all rubs and sauce, one is charcoal and wood, and one is accessories. They also have a separate section with Green eggs and webers on display/ for sale and all their accessories and spare parts.

I’m a manager at an Ace. This looks like the “core” selection of what is available from our warehouses. It’s all good stuff, but some Aces will have more, and there is even more available via drop ship through the Ace ordering system. We also buy direct from a companies like Franklin BBQ, Killer Hogs, Bearded Butcher, Lane’s BBQ… We carry a lot. We even have a 4ft section of locally made (w/in the state) sauces and rubs. For anybody in SE Michigan, next time you see a show at Pine Knob take a detour to Ace Hardware of Clarkston and check us out.
