For me personally, I love the flour box cookie recipe. If you google it it will come up. Extremely minimal Spread. I do chill them for like 10’minutes or so before baking. I always put a little more extract than called for but this is a great no spread recipe

This one turned out really good and almost no spread. Its kind of a mix between shortbread and sugar cookies. I also did a version replacing the vanilla with almond extract and it was delicious
