Had to give it a shot. Just started doing hot sauces about 3 weeks ago because I want to build a tolerance so I can get Thai hot food at a restaurant. Seems like I’m able to build tolerance insanely fast, I don’t know if this is unusual or not.
First day, a generous amount of plain Tabasco was enough to have me a bit uncomfortable. Tabasco habanero had me in pain with just a few drops. Then I picked up scorpion Tabasco and Garlic Reaper and both were brutal, constant saliva production, mouth on fire, and I’m running for some water.
I’ve been putting hot sauce on literally every single meal I’ve eaten for the past three weeks and I’ve now obliterated my first bottle of habanero Tabasco (just bought a fresh one today) and am about 75% done with my first Garlic Reaper bottle (also picked up another today when I got this Reaper Evil).
Last pic is my subjective ranking on heat. Tabasco Scorpion is ridiculously hot compared to the two Torchbearer reaper sauces to me. I’ve heard certain peppers can hit people differently, and that must be the case for me, because it is a damn slow progression getting that bottle whittled down. Way hotter than I ever expected a Tabasco to be.

How does reaper evil compare to the garlic reaper? I recently got a bottle of the garlic reaper and it was my first try of the Torchbearer line up. Is it hotter or just different without the garlic? .
