This healthy shrimp Alfredo proves you don’t need heavy cream or excessive butter to get a rich, satisfying pasta dish. By using protein pasta, lean shrimp, and a cottage cheese–based Alfredo sauce, this recipe delivers classic comfort with a much lighter nutritional profile.

It’s creamy, indulgent, and filling — but designed to support fat loss, recomp, or high-protein eating without sacrificing flavor. Let’s #makeithappen

  1. OMG I must make this MARVELOUS RECIPE! Today we woke up to over 2 feet of snow everywhere! So happy we keep a huge amount of birdfeed (which all animals seem to want to eat) so that they will still have good food to eat even if we are 2-4 feet of snow! Watching you make this recipe has ignited a NEED to do some good cooking 🙂 !!! Thank you so much for this lovely video :).

  2. I do appreciate healthy but my problem is with the high protein aspect of the dish. May be too much protein for one dish. High protein low carb is good for weight loss but unless you're working that excess protein off, it'll convert over to fat. Protein based fat is harder to burn off.

  3. Cottage cheese in breakfast eggs with veggies abd a strongly cheese like provolone is so bangin! Thus here looks delicious and im gonna give it a try!

  4. Good idea to use cottage cheese to sub for heavy cream. less fat and cholesterol. Same body is added to the sauce and costs less. Will add mushrooms to the vegetables.

  5. Please remember that the body digestive system can only process and absorb 32 grams of protein at one time, the remaining is expelled out the body.

  6. Great substitute. I despise cottage cheese, but I'll definitely try this version. Alfredo is my go to. Thanks Matt

  7. Love the turn to making these recipe more healthy versions! Started working towards a more consistent health and fitness journey this month and I enjoy finding more recipes beyond just chicken.

  9. Last year, my wife and I started a weight loss journey together. Combined, we lost 135 pounds. This is one recipe I started making in the fall and it is amazing. The secret is low heat with the cottage cheese.
