Clumpies Ice Cream is closing its store at the foot of the Incline Railway at the end of February.
The closing is in conjunction with Rock City not renewing its contract with CARTA to manage Incline ticket sales as well as food and retail.
A new contract was awarded to the Reinert Group, which operates the Southern Belle riverboat, Chattanooga Ducks and the Mayor’s Mansion.
Clumpies still has the original location on Frazier Avenue on the Northshore and the Southside location on South Market Street at the Grand Hotel.
