I believe it’s a scotch bonnet pepper plant that I’ve had for a couple years now. Was going to make it a fun bonsai/bonchi experiment cuz of its odd look but suddenly was concerned that its diseased. It was never a great producer and grew more warts than fruit. Leaves are always small and mishappen. Never bothered to separate it from the other peppers because I thought they were harmless galls but bare-handling it and observing closely again for the first time in awhile grossed me out so much I thought I should ask. Any idea if I should burn this thing in fire?
