Côte Brasserie has unveiled this year’s Valentine’s menu, featuring a particularly sentimental touch. This Valentine’s Day, the menu includes a selection of desserts crafted by Executive Chef Steve Allen, formerly of Claridge’s and Gordon Ramsay, which incorporate the pastel-coloured confectionery, Love Hearts.
Research shows that nostalgia significantly influences our eating habits, with one third of Britons saying that sweets evoke cherished childhood memories. Côte Brasserie’s Valentine’s menu embraces this emotional connection by incorporating Love Hearts, with their charming messages such as ‘I Love You’, ‘Be Mine’, and ‘True Love’, alongside their classic menu staples.

The brasserie’s menu, running from February 9 to 15, will showcase decadent sharing dishes and traditional French cuisine. Central to the offering will be the popular sharing Côte de Boeuf – presented on the bone, aged for 30 days in Côte’s Himalayan salt chamber, and accompanied by unlimited chips and truffle hollandaise.
For pudding, Steve Allen has developed a Valentine’s sharing mousse drawing inspiration from the distinctive appeal of Love Hearts. White chocolate is combined with freeze-dried raspberry and passion fruit, topped with Love Heart sweets for sprinkling and crushing.
A specially crafted Valentine’s cocktail rounds off the experience, combining Lillet apéritif with orange blossom and freeze-dried raspberries for a fragrant, gently romantic conclusion.
For those dining-in on the 14th itself, a special set menu will be available from 5pm across all brasseries*, priced at £32.50 for two courses or £37.50 for three.
Guests can enjoy Côte classics such as the iconic French Onion Soup (on the menu since 2007), butcher’s cut steak frites, and a curated French cheese selection, alongside the exclusive Valentine’s specials.
For couples choosing a night in, Côte at Home offers limited-edition Valentine’s boxes, available for delivery between February 11-14.

Dessert options include Côte’s exclusive Valentine’s mousse with Love Hearts, petit beurre biscuits and dried berries, or the much-loved crème caramel with madeleines and salted caramel sauce.
Côte Brasserie’s Valentine’s tables were among the most sought-after last year, and with Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday, demand is expected to be even higher. The at-home boxes sell out every year, making this one celebration not to leave to the last minute.
