I currently have a Silverton 620 and feel like I HAVE to upgrade to this Ironwood XL to feed my bbq addiction. Anyone have any reason why I shouldn’t pull the trigger? I haven’t done much research on the Ironwood so not sure if there are any issues I should be aware of.

For my own information…. I have the Silverton 620 too. I really like it. What will you be able to do with this that we can’t on the 620? I would be willing to upgrade at that price too!!!!

That’s an 885, different from the xl but if they have an xl I’d get it for that
It’s a great price, even considering they artificially jacked up the “retail” price to $2,200. I think they are more like $1,500.
Definitely is not an Ironwood XL.

Fantastic deal! I saw one at my local home depot but I already have a pellet grill. They also had a sick Roccbox pizza-oven on sale for 200 which I snagged!

Doesn’t cost anything to ask if they can better on the price. That’s what I did when I got my kamado joe they had on clearance. They knocked another $100 off it .
That would be my approach, that or announcing “Honey of jus saved us $1,539 today, let’s celebrate with a brisket”
