Kıymalı Pide is a traditional Turkish flatbread made with soft yeast dough and topped with a juicy minced meat mixture. The dough is shaped like a boat, filled with seasoned minced meat, onions, and tomatoes, then baked until the base is lightly crisp and the top stays moist and flavourful.
🧑🍳 Basic Pide Dough (Universal)
Flour – 500 g
Warm milk/water – 300 ml
Yeast – 7 g
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
👉 Knead → rest → shape boat → fill → bake 230–250°C (445–480°F), 10–14 min
Kiymali Pide:
Minced chicken / mutton / beef – 200 g
Onion (very fine) – 60 g
Tomato (seedless) – 70 g
Ginger garlic paste – 10 g
Kashmiri chilli powder – 3 g
Pepper – 2 g
Salt – 5 g
Oil – 15 g
Coriander / parsley – 10 g
✔ Mix raw, spread thin (no pre-cooking)
