I went WAAAY out of my commute route to buy these because everyone swore that they were great and had great kick. Did I buy the wrong ones or that Reddit let me down once again?
They are mediocre at best and have almost zero spice.

I’ve never seen anything about them supposed to be spicy. I’ve bought them before and they are quite tasty though.

I don’t know about spicy but they remind me of school cafeteria patties which i just love with a load of ketchup on white bread. I don’t know why school lunches were such crap but I fucking loved them

If I saw them I’d grab them, I doubt they’re spicy

I get these all the time from Aldi. They’re like putting tabasco on a regular patty. Very good for what they are.

I know the post you’re talking about, people were saying they were awesome. For some reason I thought they were a Walmart brand.

I love spicy stuff and I’ve gotten varying heat levels. The first time I got them I was pleasantly surprised at the heat, the next time they weren’t nearly as good.

I mean, with the right sauce you can make any chicken sandwich spicy enough, so I wouldn’t sweat it. I get it when something is advertised as spicy like chips or peanuts and it’s disappointing, but food can always have stuff put on it to take it to whatever level you want. Get some Tabasco Scorpion or Torchbearer Reaper and your sandwiches will be great.

put that bad boy in the air fryer and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and habanero jack cheese on a martin’s potato roll. crown with mayo and either tabasco scorpion sauce or buldak 2x sauce
