Can this be done with a single consistency of icing?
Like the title says, can the cat ones and little decorations be done with all one consistency and letting it dry or do I need a flood and then a thicker one? Thanks! Also, give me *any* tips you think a newbie should listen to!!

It will be significantly easier with two consistencies. It’s possible to do with one though.

I would suggest a flood consistency and a thicker piping consistency for the details. Just bag some of the icing before thinning it, thin the rest and bag it too. A great tip I learned is using a spray bottle to think my icing. You can do a few sprays at a time without risking adding too much water! Hope this helps!
