Piacere Mio, 1303 W. Wilson Ave.
A suburban Italian restaurant is expanding to Chicago in a storefront that’s been home to several restaurants over the past three years.
Piacere Mio appears to be opening soon at 1303 W. Wilson Ave., according to signs on the storefront. The restaurant, which offers a variety of pasta dishes, opened in Forest Park in 2023, according to the Forest Park Review.
The storefront was most recently home to Floreen’s Chicken & Roost, which was open for only three months in 2023. From spring to fall 2022, it had been a vegan Mexican restaurant; from 2017-2019, it had been a pizza restaurant. All three restaurants were operated by a couple known for having several restaurants in the area.
