The owner of a locally-loved pizzeria in Vestavia Hills has plans to reopen after wrapping up the opening of his new restaurant.

Back with the old…
After opening back in 2023, Napoli Italian Restaurant & Pizza temporarily closed in January this year due to staffing shortages, the Vestavia Voice reported this week.
Owner Sam Rinka plans to reopen at some point in the next week, the Voice reported. On Wednesday, Feb. 4, Napoli did not appear to be open, but folks at the new restaurant said they expect it to open Monday, Feb. 9.

The new restaurant, Caffe di Roma, is located at what was previously a Papa Murphy’s Pizza location located at The Bray in Vestavia Hills.
The restaurant opened in early December, so it’s had some time to settle in to the new spot.
Caffe di Roma specializes in gourmet pizzas, but on its menu you’ll also find:
Appetizers like garlic knots, meatballs, bruschetta and wings
Salads
Stromboli
Pasta
Pizza rolls
Italian desserts
