    We make a similar salad here in the Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern Kentucky.
    Tahini has only became available here in the last 10 years or so. Prior to that we usually would use a creamy Italian style dressing which is basically oil and vinegar with seasoning in it.

    I know all your items are fresh, which is important, but I would add chick peas and would treat as a meal in itself and not just a side dish. Have all the ingredients so will have this today and will use as part of my weight loss programme. Simple to prepare and delicious.
