This little "snack" of multi-grain pita chips (60 grams, 300 calories) and Jeesauce (almond and oil-based dip, 191 calories) is 491 calories! That's nearly half of what I budget for lunch. So today, this is lunch AND afternoon snack, and I'll just have to deal with the inevitable hunger until my early dinner tonight.

Weighing my food is a game changer. I really thought I I had a good handle on calorie count by eyeballing things. I was dead-ass wrong.
