This is how you build a constitution made of steel. You don’t get a population of over a billion by having a weak stomach.

    /s (kinda)

They have more people than banana leaves

Compound flavor coming from porous bricks soaked in curry for a century (and feet)

Better title this time. Well done

They use up all the banana leaves as toilet paper from the diarrhea they constantly have from eating floor food.

Even in the poorest of bad times during the 30 years war people would eat their bbq rat or roasted cat on a plate instead of where we walk with dirty boots. I can’t fathom this.

If they wash the floor after, and it’s a relatively dry place, then it could be reasonably bacteria free

Shit, piss, and foot flavours are properly imbued this way

I’ve actually been to this temple, it’s a religious ritual/belief.

The floor is washed properly before serving and after.
you can also choose not to eat on the floor too, this is just for the hardcore believers.

Religion makes people do stupid shit but as long as it’s not harming anyone else I don’t have a problem with it.
