Not the biggest haul but I got 33 jars (8 pint, 25 quart), 2 boxes of Ball lids and rings, 1 box of Kerr lids and rings, and 10 boxes of wide mouth lids plus sooo many rings for $30.

There were also two random boxes of gloves for prep which is honestly awesome because gloves are so expensive.

I picked up two pant/scarf hangers for rings at the thrift store for $3. It's not pretty but it will be so nice to not have rings just all over the place.
My daughter helped me fill the new jars, lid them, and mark with blue tape which ones have new lids so I know to use them.

That pant hanger trick is brilliant!

Fill the new jars? With water or something? Curious about that part.

  4. How old are the lids? Probably not a good idea to use them for actual canning if they are really old, even if they are still sealed in their boxes.
