
Here's my secret for tvp tacos. Cook your pot of pinto beans with a little extra seasoned water. Use the extra bean water to soak your tvp. Add back some pintos to the tvp taco meat and sauté with chopped onions. I also added mushrooms. The corn tortillas are made from corn masa flour. This whole meal cost a few dollars. Another tip if you use a microwave. All my limes kept going solid & brown because I couldn't eat them fast enough. You can freeze lime juice or you can just freeze the whole lime. Microwave for 40 sec and it comes out so juicy you don't have to roll it on your counter. If you don't own a rolling pin or tortilla press, you can roll out the corn tortillas with a glass bottle.

Looks delicious! Fyi If your tortilla edges look like that, your masa is too dry. Recommend Maseca and a bit more water. Don’t forget to let the dough sit for a minute before pressing.
