Looks great! Fwiw I like a stronger sear, ymmv. As for other seasonings, try Montreal steak spice as a rub. I’ve shared some beef rib roasts & pictures here, including Montreal steak spice. Also some other beef rubs on beef short ribs, etc. Cheers & enjoy.

I’m going to say harder sear also. I like AP rub and am a huge fan of hard-core carnivore black seasoning. On a prime rib I always like to put quite a bit of a leafy seasoning called marjoram. It’s a game changer for roast beef.
