    That is a an almost monthly staple in my house, sometimes twice a month. Especially in the winter months. I will always cook more rice than needed and then make some fried rice with the excess.

    edit: I like to add diced apple in with the “hot” variety even though it isn’t really hot and I usually end up adding sriracha to it.

    Suggestion to mix different brands of curry for an even more unique flavor profile – I love Java, Vermont, and Golden mixed together!

    throw some menchi katsu and fried garlic arugula / rocket on the side of that and have your mind blown! Found a local place serving that recently and needless to say we are regulars there now!

    I like the extra hot, with chicken, carrots, apples and potatoes. Top with raisins and shredded coconut.
