Anne Carpenter of Kitchen Conservatory showcased classic crème brûlée on “Show Me St. Louis,” spotlighting the school’s Valentine’s Day cooking classes
ST. LOUIS — Kitchen Conservatory, St. Louis’s celebrated culinary school and kitchen supply destination, brought a taste of romance and hands-on culinary excitement to local television this week when culinary educator Anne Carpenter appeared live on Show Me St. Louis to demonstrate how to make classic crème brûlée and to highlight the school’s lineup of Valentine’s Day cooking classes.
Following the live demo, Carpenter highlighted Kitchen Conservatory’s special Valentine’s cooking classes, which run through February 15th at the school’s location on Manchester Road in St. Louis. These immersive, hands-on sessions invite couples and friends to cook and dine together while learning new skills from experienced culinary instructors.
Offerings this year include:
Valentine for Couples: Culinary Cupid – A romantic evening creating multi-course menus such as lobster Wellington and crème brûlée paired with other love-inspired dishes.
Swooning for the Exotic – Explore global flavors in an intimate setting.
Perfectly Paired – Elegant dishes with a vanilla bean crème brûlée dessert, ideal for February 14.
Valentine Cookie Decorating – A fun, hands-on class focusing on royal icing techniques and themed cookie creations.
These classes are designed for cooks of all skill levels and make for unique date nights, friend outings, or experiential gifts. Registration is ongoing while spaces last, and some sessions have limited availability.
