Easy Sausage and Pepper Sandwiches with Potato Wedges

I used just 5 sausages to make 8 sandwiches, making this an easy and affordable game-day meal!

You will need:
5 Italian sausages
1 package of frozen peppers and onions
8 hotdog buns
Shredded mozzarella
Shredded Cheddar
2 pounds of potatoes
3 TB oil
1 packet of potato seasoning
Mustard and Ketchup (optional)

Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Cut potatoes into wedges. Toss potatoes with oil and seasoning mix and place on a greased and lined baking sheet. Bake at 400ºF (200ºC) for 45 minutes, tossing halfway through. Lay out hotdog buns and top each with a mix of shredded cheeses. When potatoes have 15 minutes left of cook time, begin sauteing pepper/onion mix with cut-up sausage. In the last 5 minutes, place the buns in the oven to warm and melt the cheese. Top with sausage and peppers, serve with potatoes, and enjoy!

  1. You are a brave woman. I won't eat mustard without a linen napkin tucked over my shirt anymore. I've ruined too many clothes with the drip. I might use more mustard than a normal person, though.

  2. I don’t understand how I went from hating peppers and onions as a kid and now I love them! Taste is weird.

  3. You dont really need to factor in condiments into cost, id you're desperate you can get them for free as packets wherever really and if you're not desperate you can probably afford them at least occasionally

  4. 5 dinners times 30 days is $1500 a month. Hey my welfare check is only $1500 a month. Any other ways I can screw the tax payers? I'm to lazy to work.

  5. It’s truly amazing how cutting the food up really DOES make it seem like more! When I make my beef stroganoff in the crock pot, it always says 2.5 lbs of stew meat. That’s coming up on $30 (!) where I live, so I just get the one and cut it up super small, and it’ll feed a family of 4 with leftovers!😊❤ you’re so kind and thoughtful in every video you make, thank you❤😊

  6. My flabbers are gasted by how many people don’t understand that this is ONE meal out of the five, and each meal will have four servings. This is the first video, and first meal, of four more videos and meals to come. Come on, people, listen.

  7. I like your channel. Hopefully you sanitized, or either switched out, your cutting board between slicing raw sausage and then the potatoes. Stay safe!

  8. Saw this right before going grocery shopping and decided to make it for dinner. It was delicious. I just added some garlic/onion powder and some Italian seasoning for some more flavor. I will be adding it into the rotation.

  9. With the frozen peppers add those second when cooking. The water in them gets cooked out and that’s why they shrivel. They only really need 5-10 minutes at most.

  10. i think i would "peel" the brats and mash them into mince with a spatula for a more sloppy joe-adjacent sandwhich personally. as always your videos never miss, this looks great
