These days, Luke Sayers is best known for an errant penis photograph that mysteriously appeared on the internet. Before that, his reputation was built around being one of Melbourne’s most prodigious networkers.
Sayers built his connections as chief executive of PwC and then as head of his own consulting firm, Sayers Group (renamed post-scandal as Tenet Advisory). But it’s his AFL contacts, gathered when and before he was Carlton president, that are perhaps worth more than any others in the footy-mad city.
