Some of my peppers from this past growing season lived in the kitchen fruit basket (with air circulation) until they started to shrivel. Then they were moved to this open glass container still out in the kitchen. My question is – is room temp air drying a thing for peppers? I never found black spots or mold on these and some of them are quite dehydrated.

If they are soft and squishy I would say no. But if they feel like they have been dehydrated then you’re good. There are some people that hang their peppers to dry overtime with no problems.
