Does anyone know the name of this part? It’s the side burner on my Weber Genesis II.
I made an assumption that this would be a good place to hold a lit charcoal chimney (with the provided metal grate installed). It’s not.
The components under the metal disk melted and now needs to be replaced.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

It’s called a trivet, I don’t see any for sale on weber site, but worth getting on a chat there or call them.
I made the same mistake and I had to replace mine. I replaced it with this one and it works fine.
