BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP with. COTTAGE CHEESE RECIPE
2 cups shredded chicken breast
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
2/3 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons hot sauce
3 tablespoons green onion, chopped & divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 350ΒΊF and adjust the oven rack to the middle position.

In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, hot sauce, and half of the green onions. Mix well to combine.

Pour the mixture into an 8Γ—8” baking pan or something similar that is oven-safe.

Smooth out the top and sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly on the sides.

To brown the top and create crispy edges, broil for 2-3 minutes (keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t burn).

Garnish with the remaining green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips and raw veggies.

  1. I was wondering where the hot sauce was πŸ˜‚. Looks tasty, and easy, I'm going to try it this weekend! Thanks!

  2. Dani, this is perfect! I've been looking for a creamy recipe for potlucks. Now I see this one. I'm not watching the Super Bowl, but I plan this and making extra for my lunch meal prepping next week. massive hugs

  3. I have wondered if you would ever make a buffalo dip. I still make your recipe for cauliflower buffalo bites for parties. Every time I make them, they are a hit. I know everyone would love this recipe, too!

  4. I'm excited for the upcoming Super Bowl and this dip is perfect for it. Thanks once again Dani for this recipe. Looking forward to what you cook in your next video. I cooked your almond flour banana pancakes this week and my parents loved it. I also tagged you on my Instagram and posted the pictures.

  5. Thank you for the recipe, Dani! I have seen various versions of this, but this one looks great! Can’t wait to try it! Seahawks fan here in Seattle, so…GO SEAHAWKS! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸˆ

  6. Thanks for the recipe… some of your followers hate "Patriots" , they might stop watching your videos πŸ˜‚

  7. i know a bit strange but adding tuna as my protein then i will serve open faced in a baked potato….

  8. A rotary cheese grater is so much easier than a box grater, it’s seriously a game changer because it grates so much faster. Great Recipe!

  9. I make buffalo chicken dip every SuperBowl game. I'm interested in swapping the cream cheese/sour cream for the cottage cheese/yogurt, but I will keep my recipe's bleu cheese instead of cheddar. I serve with chips and celery.

  10. What can I replace the cheese with if one is dairy sensitivity/ or allergic to dairy? Looks good btw.

  11. Well, tried this tonight. Epic fail. Watery and too spicy. I had to add cream cheese to my personal bowl, mix it, then it was creamier and a little less spicy. Served it with Siete chips and a side of chopped avocado. 😒
