SuperValu has officially launched its much-anticipated Spanish Wine Event, which kicked off on Thursday, February 5. Running in stores until February 19, the event brings an inspiring quality and great value selection of Spanish wines and Cavas to shelves nationwide – perfect for anyone looking to explore a new bottle or revisit a classic favourite.
Hosted by IMAGE’s Édaein O’Connell, the evening unfolded at Delahunt on Camden Street, where guests were welcomed for a guided tasting of SuperValu Specially Sourced Spanish Wines, thoughtfully paired with a Spanish-inspired three-course dinner. Adding an extra touch of drama and elegance, guests were serenaded throughout the night by opera singers Fearghal and Anna, whose performances created a truly memorable atmosphere
SuperValu wine expert Kevin O’Callaghan led attendees on a curated flavour journey across Spain’s diverse wine regions, sharing insider knowledge, pairing advice and inspiration for entertaining at home. The relaxed yet refined setting encouraged conversation among guests, while each attendee departed with a curated gift bag filled with Spanish wines and nibbles from SuperValu.
It was the perfect finale to an evening that celebrated the exceptional Specially Sourced Spanish Wine Selection along with great company.
