We’re barely into 2026, and it already seems like we need a second freezer just to house all the new, delicious ice cream launches we’ve seen so far. From the Snickers Minis Ice Cream Bars and all-new Tillamook Ice Cream Bars to the highly anticipated Nutella Ice Cream and Breyers new line of Sundae Swirls, we’re not waiting for warm weather to dig into these new frozen treats.
Now, a few months after Ben & Jerry’s debuted its all-new line of Ice Cream Bars, which includes Cookie Dough, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Strawberry Cheesecake, PB Pretzel, and Caramel Blondie flavors, the beloved brand is expanding one of its most innovative product lines yet.
In 2025, Ben & Jerry’s released the international favorite Sundaes pints in the U.S. for the first time. The new freezer aisle treat features base ice cream loaded with Ben & Jerry’s signature chunks and swirls, plus a layer of whipped cream and extra toppings to create an ice cream sundae right in the pint.
The line, which currently includes Cookie Vermont-ster Sundae, Dulce-Delish Sundae, Choco-lotta Cheesecake Sundae, and Turtle Sundae, quickly became a fan favorite. So, as Ben & Jerry’s enters its second year ofSundaes offerings, the brand is releasing three new flavors that are bigger, chunkier, and swirlier than ever.
Ben & Jerry’s is adding Straw-Bae Shortcake, PB Blondie Bestie, and Mocha Mood Pie Sundaes to its portfolio.

Ben & Jerry’s is releasing its new Sundaes pints just in time for Valentine’s Day—so no need to grab a box of chocolates or make an elaborate dessert, when a Sundaes pint and two spoons will do the trick. The three new flavors will join Ben & Jerry’s permanent line, expanding the Sundaes offerings to seven.
Straw-Bae Shortcake features sweet cream ice cream packed with shortcake cookies and strawberry swirls and topped with strawberry-swirled whip and shortcake crumble. PB Blondie Bestie includes peanut butter ice cream with blondie brownie pieces and a graham cracker swirl that’s topped with caramel-swirled whipped topping and mini peanut butter cups. Mocha Mood Pie is made with chocolate cold brew ice cream, with coffee from longtime Ben & Jerry’s partner BLK & Bold, and has chocolate cookie pieces and swirls with a fudge-swirled whipped topping and fudge chips.
The three new Sundaes flavors are hitting retailers nationwide now, where they’ll be in the freezer aisle at any store where Ben & Jerry’s is sold. I tried the three new Sundaes flavors early at the Ben & Jerry’s headquarters a few months back—here are my honest thoughts.
My Honest Review of Ben & Jerry’s New Sundaes Flavors
Ben & Jerry’s chunks and swirls are what keep me coming back to the delicious ice creams in the freezer aisle. So, by adding more of that good stuff, I immediately think I’m going to find my new favorite flavor.
Unfortunately, however, I don’t know that Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes line is for me, as I’m not the biggest fan of the whipped topping and pieces plopped on top. In the Sundaes line, it seems like most of the chunks and swirls are meant to be enjoyed right on top, rather than throughout the entire pint, which is why I love Ben & Jerry’s traditional ice cream. However, once I can dig past the thick topping of frozen whip, then I can truly enjoy the ice cream flavors for what they are.
Beyond the whipped topping, the new Straw-Bae Shortcake flavor tastes pretty similar to the fan-loved Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream. It has a fresh strawberry taste in a creamy, sweet ice cream that fruit-flavored ice cream fans will definitely enjoy.
I believe that PB Blondie Bestie deserves a spot in Ben & Jerry’s regular pints lineup, without the topping. The peanut butter ice cream with gooey blondie pieces and a sweet, yet salty graham swirl is a peanut butter lover’s dream.
If you’re looking for a caffeinated zing from your ice cream, Mocha Mood Pie is the way to go. The chocolate cold brew ice cream has an intense coffee flavor that pairs deliciously well with the decadent chocolate ice cream and cookie pieces.
While I may be more of a fan of creating my own ice cream sundae, rather than having it straight from the pint, the bases of Ben & Jerry’s three new ice cream flavors have delicious promise—and I’m certainly not opposed to buying them just to eat around the “sundae” addition.
