    some info-

Toad in the hole is a traditional British dish consisting of sausages in Yorkshire pudding batter, usually served with onion gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Historically, the dish has also been prepared using other meats, such as rump steak and lamb’s kidney.

they way i’d demolish the entire thing… this looks amazing!!!

  4. Looks good! My only question is what sort of sausage you’ve used for this.

All sorts can work, but I prefer a good, meaty sausage myself.

The shape tells me American-style hot dog, but this dish is so British that it just can’t be.

Anyway, it looks really good. Like pigs in a blanket with a college degree.

The sausages used should typically have coarse filling, like Cumberland, not homogenised meat like in hot dogs.

Where I come from toad in the hole is an egg that was fried in the middle of a piece if toast, but this looks good too.
