so this is not me bullying, but I just wanted to show everybody what a local bakery near me sells and markets as āmacaronsā. they sell them for at least three dollars apiece and it makes me mad.š š

Goodness gracious! Is it like a legitimate ‘bakery’ or a cottage bakery? Not that those aren’t also legitimate – but as they’re typically run by a solo person (likely without much business or marketing experience) that would check out a bit more for me…

There’s a bakery in Santa Fe, NM that makes the bread equivalent of this. They’ve shown some improvement over the last few years but I just can’t bring myself to look at it. I don’t understand how someone sees all the pictures of things done well and decides to sell things like this.
