Had Pinkerton’s when I was out there for a work trip in December. First brisket I ever liked. Worth the wait outside, worth the price.

Good food, not my favorite though.

Are the sides better because they were a let down last tie I went.

What’s the deal with texas bbq always having some random bland white bread included

I go to this place whenever I’m in Houston, it’s solid for sure.

Spending money on sides is wild at a BBQ joint. Pickles 🥒 and bread is free.

Pinks is great stuff. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot.

That’s fucking wild. If you were at the one off of Shepard, I’m 99% certain we were there at the same time. Got my leftovers in the fridge. You missed out on the slaw, but my god that potato salad is killer. I got fatty brisket, ribs and the jalapeno cheddar sausage. I had really high expectations and was not let down. I’m trying Truth next. Can only afford the 50$ it feels necessary to get an idea of a place once every few months. Not complaining about prices, just saying that when I try a place out, I want to try different things.

All looks great other than those sad, white, floppy slices that are meant to be bread🤔

Live about a mile away. It’s dangerous. Don’t sleep on the chicken thighs but everything in that pic is awesome.

Nice looking appetizer.
Whaddya have for your meal – blueberry cobbler, bread pudding, or banana pudding?

I had the beans at the San Antonio location and they were so nasty. There was an odd flavor in them that I just couldn’t figure out what it was. Anyone have an idea what is in those??
