Galentine’s Day is a great excuse to grab your favorite people and plan something fun together. This year, The Hoboken Girl team is celebrating with a casual morning hang at Alessio’s Cafe, located at 539 Park Avenue in Hoboken, and yes, everyone’s invited. Expect good vibes, great company, and an excuse to get out of the house and do something a little more fun than your usual morning routine. Read on to see what we’re planning at Alessio’s and all the details you need to come hang with us.
About Alessio’s + The Hoboken Girl Sandwich
Alessio’s has quickly become a go-to around Hudson County, with multiple locations including two in Hoboken, one in Jersey City, and a newer spot in Weehawken. The Italian pizzeria and café serves up everything from coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries to pizza, paninis, and gelato, making it an easy choice no matter the time of day. Named after owner Luca’s son, Alessio’s has become a true staple in the Mile Square, known for its comforting classics and neighborhood feel.
The Hoboken Girl team has partnered with Alessio’s for the past few years on a special menu item, the Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich, and yes, we’re a little biased, but it really is that good. This Galentine’s Day, proceeds from the sandwich will benefit The Flow Initiative, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending period poverty and advancing menstrual equity.
Hang With Us at Alessio’s
Because mornings are better with coffee, flowers, and friends, we’re taking over Alessio’s for a Galentine’s Day hang. On Friday, 2/13, The Hoboken Girl team will be hanging out at Alessio’s (539 Park Avenue) from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, turning the morning into a mini hang worth stopping by for.
Expect coffee handouts for the first 20 people (because mornings, duh), flowers for all those who get a coffee on us for a little Galentine’s flair, and samples of the Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich so you can see firsthand why it’s become a menu favorite.
