There’s a new Italian restaurant slated to open this spring in Providence.

Ciao Ciao says it is coming soon to 771 Hope Street, in the heart of the neighborhood’s commercial corridor. 

The location previously was KG Kitchen Bar.

“A new Italian experience is coming to Hope Street — Spring 2026,” the business announced this week.

They continued: 

From fresh pasta made daily to beautiful wines and expertly crafted cocktails, expect elevated hospitality in a space designed to feel effortlessly inviting.

This week, industry veteran Adam Stabline shared that he is behind the new restaurant

“The time has finally come for me to hang up my bottle opener at Providence Oyster Bar and begin a new journey — one that’s been 30 years in the making,” said Stabline. 

“I am beyond grateful to the DiBiase & OB family for giving me so much, and to my family, friends, and guests who supported me every step of the way,” he added. “But now…it’s my turn.”

 

Latest Culinary News in RI

Scott Champagne, who along with Ben Lloyd has been running the Providence Wine Bar on Angell Street, announced that they will be embarking on a new direction for the space with “The Wayland.”
