Just scored this Weber on Facebook marketplace for $50 and had to share it with people who would appreciate it. Been wanting one for a while and finally pulled the trigger. It fired right up when I tested it.

Planning to give it a good deep clean and then break it in properly this weekend. Thinking first cook might be ribeyes or maybe some burgers to keep it classic.

I’ve already ordered an igniter switch and a catch pan.

Any tips, must-do upgrades, or maintenance advice for a new-to-me Weber owner?

I refurbished that exact grill to give to my son. All stainless less steel grates, new burner tubes, flavor bars. Took out the manifold and used compressed air on it, replaced the ignition system and the tank hose/regulator.

Its a thing of beautiy now.

The one thing that stumped me is with the new burner tubes It took me many attempts in adjusting the air flow screens to get it perfect.

When I was done the grill worked better for him than it ever did for me! 🙂
