HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Ahead of Valentine’s Day, the Eat It Up crew traveled to the Spa City to try Ambrosia at Angel’s, located in historic downtown Hot Springs.
Owner Tony Creamer has been at this location for two and a half years, seeing it as a golden opportunity.
“I came across the restaurant, which was closed at the time post-COVID, and focused on getting the restaurant itself even though I wasn’t in the business itself,” he explained. “Now I’ve just been able to transfer our bakery footprint into the restaurant.”
Since first opening, Angel’s has gone through multiple renovations, including new equipment, floors, and changes to the menu.
“We really worked hard on that to get it exactly to what people expect and enjoy,” Creamer said.
Ambrosia at Angel’s menu is full of flavor that’s welcoming to everyone and anyone.
“We don’t try to be a fine dining restaurant; we are really more of a casual Italian place to provide a comfortable environment, especially for tourists who are visiting the area,” he added.
This Valentine’s Day weekend is expected to be a very busy one for Creamer and his team. Chocolate-covered strawberries are available, as well as the delicious Italian cream cake.
