Florida’s Candy Toxin Test Findings: Parents Troubled, Candymakers Outraged

Florida’s health department tested 46 popular candy products for arsenic. State leaders shared results on Monday, January 26.

Breakfast meets chocolate and peanut butter in a new candy bar flavor from Butterfinger. The brand, one of the most popular chocolate bars in the U.S., has introduced the Butterfinger French Toast bar, available only for a limited time.

Described as a fusion of the brunch staple and its signature candy taste, Butterfinger says that the Butterfinger French Toast bar features its signature crispy, crunchy texture and peanut-buttery center coated in a French toast-flavored coating.

The launch has also teamed up with New York-based James Beard Award-winning French pastry chef Dominique Ansel, the creator of the Cronut, who is launching three new pastries influenced by the new candy flavor.

Butterfinger French Toast will be available at major retailers nationwide through April. Here’s what to know.
