Scottsdale is getting a new Italian restaurant.

Texas-based Il Bracco restaurant is slated to make its Arizona debut soon in south Scottsdale near Paradise Valley. The restaurant will comprise 5,000 square-feet of indoor dining space plus a 950 square-foot patio.

Construction is actively underway at Scottsdale Road and Rose Lane.

Il Bracco was first opened in 2019 in Dallas by Western Addition Restaurant Group, which also operates Balboa Surf Club and Bobbie’s Airway Grill in Texas. Il Bracco Scottsdale will be the group’s first restaurant outside of Texas.

What’s on the menu at Il Bracco?

Il Bracco specializes in house made pastas, such as cacio e pepe with bucatini, black pepper and Pecorino; spicy gemelli with spicy vodka sauce, basil and Reggiano; and bolognese with mafaldine, house-made beef, lamb and pork ragu and Reggiano.

Other menu highlights available at the Texas restaurants include eggplant parm, pesto crusted salmon, Amalfi tuna salad, center cut filet and the combo sandwich topped with thinly sliced Italian charcuterie, fresh mozzarella, cherry pepper spread, oil and vinegar.

The restaurant also offers a selection of specialty cocktails, including The Bracco, comprising a frozen twist on the Greyhound made with Aperol and freshly squeezed grapefruit.
