Hey guys I finally got my first espresso setup after switching from a fully automatic Philips Latte Go Coffee mashine.
I’ve opted for the Lelit Anita with the integrated grinder because of space and money. I wasn’t 100% sure if this is a hobby I want to pursue and didn’t want to spend a whole lot more for my first setup.
I think the grind quality looks good I have attached a picture of the coffee ground. It’s not the best coffee beans sine I still had some left and didn’t want to throw them away.
Taste wise I’m already really happy and I’m pulling consistent shots at 9 bar.
I’m still having much trouble with milk texturing is it the machine or is it the user ? Any tips are highly appreciated.
Is the bottomless portafilter worth to get ?
Equipment wise I opted for a normcore tamper with self leveling and a fixed pressure. I also got the subminimal flick because it’s satisfying.
I still need to find some nice espresso cups. I only got these game of thrones ones I already had.
Any tips and general advice are appreciated.

Congrats. Great starter machine.
Steam is actually not bad on that machine in my experience and milk texturing shouldn’t be to hard so you probably just need to practice.
Before steaming you need to flush it shortly to get excess water out of it.
Grinding looks like it could be slightly finer but a little hard to tell from the picture. Most importantly is the taste and if you like the taste then you’re good.
