I thoroughly enjoyed this spicy biscuit. Wanted to wait for it but I was in the mood for an adventure. Would definitely recommend a few more years on it, but it’s really enjoyable now. Especially with the char siu duck legs from Costco.

Nose: Luxardo cherry and boozy, like a manhattan, light floral notes, a touch of herbs

Palate: meaty, cherry, cinnamon, leather, slight unpleasant oak

Finish: pleasant boozy chocolate covered cherry

Love it. I always find 4-6 years to be the sweet spot on this type of Morgon

I’m so glad you posted this. I’m going to visit a friend in a very big city, where I’ll have a better wine selection than the mediocre choices in the city nearest to me. This was one I put on my list as a possible buy, with several others. Your brief notes convince me to give it a go! Tx.
