Australia’s most beloved food and wine festival pairing is expanding its reach in 20206. MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA, the national tour celebrating artisan cheese and Pinot Noir, is returning to five cities with its biggest program to date—and a new stop in Adelaide for the first time.
What began as two separate events have grown into one of the country’s favourite sensory experiences. Mould champions more than 50 small-scale Australian cheesemakers, while PINOT PALOOZA celebrates the producers behind some of the best pinot expressions from Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Together, they create a festival that’s impressive, convivial and focused squarely on good craft.
“The idea was always to bring people closer to the makers,” says Jess Audas, Head of Revel, the team behind the event. “Cheese and pinot belong together—but it’s also about telling the stories behind them. The format gives people space to explore and connect without losing that sense of enjoyment.

This year’s lineup sees leading producers like Milawa Cheese, Rub-a-Dub and Ohkela Wine return, joined by new names pushing boundaries in sustainable winemaking and contemporary dairy culture. Guests can move between tasting stands, speak directly with cheesemakers and winemakers and take home their favourites using the festival’s custom cooler bags and totes.
Beyond the main tastings, each stop will have curated bars pouring limited wines, craft beers, spirits and cocktails, while local food vendors offer ready-to-eat plates and grazing staples. The expanded 2026 edition introduces four sessions across three days in every city, adding Sunday sessions to meet growing demand.
MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA will run in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide between May and August 2026. Tickets are $59 plus booking fee and include unlimited tastings, glassware and take-home accessories.
