Just another obnoxiously tall burger 🤣

Season ground beef w/ s&p but instead of making a ball to smash, stuff it with smoked cheddar 😆

Crisp up some bacon and garlic then cook the burger in the garlicky bacon fat, then use an onion to make a ring to hold an egg and fry that in the beef fat.

Cook some onions until they start to turn color then deglaze w/ honey whiskey, add garlic, simmer until fragrant, and fill the rest of the onion/egg ring with the whiskey onions.

Toss the burger around in what's left of the whiskey glaze in the pan, add cheese, bacon, the egg/onion filled ring, & top w/ fried garlic. Give it a squish or unhinge your jaw and enjoy! 🤣

Don't forget to make your dogs some burger treats! I didn't have mini buns so they got lettuce and carrots 😁

  15. Love 💕 it. My mouth is salivating. One of my best top secret tricks to doing a bacon 🥓 burger.

And this only works if you’re NOT a fan of crispy bacon. If you are just stop reading and do it the normal way.

I prefer my bacon to be on the slightly chewier side. NOT raw, well cooked, rendered,, but not crispy. Crispy is great crumbled over salads and stuff.

Cook your bacon first so it reaches that consistency… remember can’t be crispy or this will just texture wise NOT work. At least for me.

When bacon is cooked and most of the fat has rendered out. Set it aside to cool on paper towels or whatever you normally do.

Once cool, slice it up ACROSS the strips into as fine of mini strips as you can handle.

Make your burgers per YOUR normal recipe, but don’t use regular ground beef. I think that may get too greasy. Use lean!

If you put eggs in, put eggs, if you like a bit of breadcrumb or panko. I like a bit of Worcestershire sauce ….

If you normally put 2 strips of bacon on your burger, use two strips but mush it in with your raw burger mixture.

If you use 3, then 3… do what you normally do, but add that amount in PER patty.

    Cook as you normally would.

The rest of the fat and salt will render into the beef. The beef will prevent the bacon from getting more crispy or burned.

Add cheese if that’s your jam at the end of cooking or however YOU do it…

You should end up with the juiciest, most flavourful “bacon burger” 🍔 ever!

    – Enjoy!
