As someone who doesn't keep a lot of fresh produce (busy work and school life) these have saved me so much from resisting the urge to order and binge on fast food. I'll usually have some wheat goldfish with the chicken noodle. The Southwest soup has a little more calories (310 for the whole can) but it's a good higher protein option if I'm not feeling chicken noodle, or wanting to stay full longer. If you have any other shelf stable/long lasting and quick meal options lmk!!

Soup season is the cheapest most efficient weightloss time for me. Its so easy to make healthy high volume soups

  2. I have a 20 minute lunch and usually meal prep – but when I don’t, their lentil soup is also clutch. Thankfully, I have low blood pressure!

  3. Canned soups are a game changer for weight loss. If I’ve made it to the end of the day with more calories to spare, sometimes I take tomato three bean soup from Sainsbury’s (I live in the UK so your options might differ) at 226 calories per tin, let it reduce a little bit and add some rice and chilli flakes, ends up being a bit of a low calorie vegetarian chilli for me!

Otherwise if I have some potatoes I’ll boil them instead and have them in place of rice since they can be really satiating!

I mean I guess it’s better than fast food.

I try not to eat a lot of canned soup (ultra-processed, sodium, etc.) and they usually aren’t very filling for me. BUT when I do these are great options. I also add in a tin of canned chicken which helps to fill me up AND add extra healthy protein with only an additional 100something calories.

  6. I find I’m just as hungry after eating these than before, but I’m glad they work for you!

As far a shelf stable I reach for tuna and crackers a lot it does take a little more effort to chop an onion and celery but ofc soup is good too some are like 510 calories for the creamy and potato ones so watch out for that lol
