I’ve never had a kinder bueno before, so I didn’t really have any expectations when I bought this, other than excitement because I’ve never seen this before!! There was also a Nutella ice cream but I figured that would be pretty standard.
Easily an 8/10 – the top is similar to those Magnum ice creams where you break the chocolate at the top and then you get to the ice cream underneath. I love love LOVE hazelnut and this is just hazelnut cream on top! The ice cream underneath is very plain and not super rich in hazelnut flavor but it’s still refreshing. The real fun is with the layers of hazelnut cream, which are more like hazelnut bark, and crispy chocolate pieces. The crispiness is a wonderful texture! And more hazelnut cream is amazing, and there’s basically a million layers of the stuff! Definitely try this out if you like hazelnut but without the chocolate like Nutella.

The Nutella ice cream is fantastic, too. I was expecting it to be mediocre and I feel like it would have been better for my health and wallet if I was right.
Edit: Important to listen to the instructions to let it soften up, though. It’s so much better once it’s not solid. I want to try the Bueno one, but I don’t want to risk chipping my bite turbos or breaking a bracket for my braces.
I saw this the other day and was curious, now I have to try it. Bueno bars are so good, so I was definitely intrigued
