I never ordered a fish sandwich until about a week ago, but I've seen a lot of hype so I'm on a mission to try more of them. So far I've had the filet-o-fish from McDonald's and the flounder sandwich from Popeyes. Which one should I try next?

Wendy’s, they only sell it during Lent and it is fire
If the McDonald’s one is done right, I think it’s the best. I know the question is “best chain”, but if you have an actual fish shop / fish n chips place that sells sandwiches you should give it a shot.
Some sandwiches like an Italian can be good at chains but better at local spots. Fish sandwiches, from my experience at least, are night and day between chains and local places.
Carl’s Jr is NOT it, i thought 2 for $7 why not? Trash

That double filet specifically is my all time time most eaten fish sandwich
Arby’s does a pretty solid one. Haven’t had it in years though
God damnit I guess I’ll order a Fillet o Fish.
Edit: It was delicious. Heads up if you have the app there’s a deal for a medium filet meal(or Big Mac) for $6.98.
Popeyes had a limited time fried flounder sandwich, which evidently they’re bringing back in spring. If you haven’t had it I’d definitely recommend that.
The Popeyes flounder sandwich is my #1 and the only sell it during lent
I quite like BK’s fish sandwich. Kinda niche but Dairi-O kicks ass.
Culvers and I am shocked no one recommended it. It blows all others out of the water.
Seriously google it, its beautiful, thick, whole filet, And it is AMAZING.

Burger king!!
Arby’s takes the top spot imho(not the one on Hawaiian bread though).
Next Wendy’s and Popeye’s are good. McDonald’s gets it done/always available.
Burger King Big Fish was excellent in the 90s early 2k then it fell completely off a cliff.
Checkers and Hardee’s are bland and low quality. Never had one from DQ. Will have to make the trip.

Why does this sub only show up in my feed when someone posts a damn McDonald’s fish sandwich. So many good looking sandwiches and all I get is this all the time. On a positive it forced me to go in to the sub and see those other great sandwiches. Another negative, now I’m really hungry.

I was team Arby’s for a long time, but I’ve gotta go with the Walleye sandwich from Culver’s now

The Bojangles Boj’Angler is terrific.
Burger King’s Filet-O-Fish is lowkey underrated. Hits way harder than people expect.
