Greek Biftekia Gemista with Fasolakia… juicy, seared to perfection beef patties packed with Mediterranean flavours. Unlike their simpler cousins, biftekia gemista are oozing with molten blocks of feta & therefore infinitely more delicious. I prefer to pan-roast these for a deeper caramelization & to ensure the feta is completely melted, but you can also bake them overtop of some roasted lemon potatoes. I served them here alongside a big pot of Fasolakia – green beans stewed in a simple yet rich tomato sauce with potatoes – for a comforting & seriously delicious meal that will fill you up without weighing you down
