Nothing inconvenient about brewing espresso unless you do it like Instagrammers. I don’t spritz, blind shake, or stir. Dose into the portafilter, tamp and go.

Fr some of the setups I’ve seen reminded me of Breaking Bad early season meth labs.

I enjoy grinding my own beans and the manual process involved with my Cafelat Robot but even my low tech/manual setup sometimes makes me wonder if I went too heavy with it.

Honestly, I can’t think of a hobby that is not inconvenient

My therapist charges $200/hour. My espresso habit charges $200/month. Both make me feel something. Only one gives me a latte.

Can confirm I pay less for therapy but both are necessary

Idk, I’ve seen how much money some of y’all spend and I do in fact think it’s more expensive than therapy

You know you need therapy when you know all the items by name from that illustration.

I’m sure I’ve seen this exact cartoon format, but about vinyl records. I’m into both so I feel very called out.

I still have my original Silvia. Going on six years of ownership in April. Same with the K3. I’ve thought about upgrading to something more capable, but it’s a lot to spend when what I have is good enough.

It’s less convenient than stopping for coffee at the local cafe on the way to work. But it’s more convenient than leaving the house to get coffee and coming home. Unless you live next to a kickass cafe I think you should be your own barista.

Hey! I got into moka pots and pour overs because they’re cheap dammit! But still kinda inconvenient..
